Drawing from the legacies of the Cold War in East Asia, the work creates an atmosphere that appears intimate yet is charged with symbolic tension. Set within the narrow corridors of the Hong-Gah Museum and 1990s-style hotel rooms, the installation integrates video, furniture, and Simplified Chinese labels. Together, these elements evoke an unsettling and suspended sense of time and space, allowing the fractures within identity and belonging to gradually surface.
